Happy Sugar Life

Happy Sugar Life should include several pages of warnings & disclaimers about the content. It’s relentless, skeevy, & nauseating in all the interesting kinds of ways. It makes me feel things you absolutely should never, EVER feel concurrently. There is something fascinating about that … psychologically and spiritually speaking. The dissonance is awful, but you can’t stop watching it despite how gross you feel.

Everyone in Happy Sugar Life is on some scale of mental unwellness … whether at the tipping point of psychosis or already there or starting out on a journey towards it … I also think everyone is a victim of someone else’s disgusting rabidity …

I wish I could with a healthy conscience recommend Happy Sugar Life for viewing. I think you have to be a certain kind of person to appreciate and tolerate what it does. If you’re not mentally strong or stable, I think watching it is a terrible and destructive idea.

Similarly, if you’re someone watching Happy Sugar Life and you feel nothing at all … if you feel a kind of flatline watching it … then there is also equally wrong with you. To have no connection with deliberately disturbing or manipulative media is an issue in and of itself.

It’s probably a healthy reaction to try and separate yourself from how something like Happy Sugar Life might make you feel, like a defense mechanism. But if you’re doing that then why watch it at all?

The whole point is to drag you somewhere awful and choke you on … yourself.
