I don’t allow comments on my blog because this is my home and my life … it is not a conversation.

Who I am, how I express myself in my own space, my feelings and my lived reality are not up for debate. This isn’t social media and my writing isn’t something I create for other people’s entertainment. I’m not writing to make money. I don’t need likes or views to bolster my ego. I use this space to journal, to express myself, to have fun … to be me.

If you are here it’s because you’re interested in who I am and how I express myself and I deeply appreciate that and I’m glad you may have found something that resonates with you from my content, but you’re in my home … and the rules in my own home are not going to change.

If you can’t enjoy something unless you’re allowed to express your opinion about it, perhaps you have been on social media too long and don’t remember what it’s like to just take something into yourself for your own reasons and holding that within you silently.

Perhaps you have simply forgotten how to listen … or never learned.

There are several essays here that may be of interest to you, including the one above, if you’re someone who feels you have been shaped into something you don’t want to be because of social media, algorithms, and oppressors who have found ways of controlling and manipulating your addiction to their products. I hope you may find a way through the disease of social media and how you may be accustomed to treating people and judging the content they create.

Everyone uses social media and the Internet for different reasons. I have been on the Internet since before it was publicly accessible by the masses and where we are now may be bigger … but it’s absolutely not better.

Thank you for your interest in my content but remember I am more than just my content. I am a person, a human being … not just an avatar or a screen name, but a whole person with feelings and opinions, a past, a present, and a soul.

Maybe you have forgotten how to treat people like human beings.
Maybe you have lost a bit of your own humanity from being indoctrinated or manipulated by social media.
Maybe you don’t know what it’s like to just simply listen and not speak.

You don’t have to comment on everything you see and hear.
You don’t have to insert yourself into other people’s business.
You don’t have to try and center yourself in someone else’s lived experience.
You just have to listen and respect others as individuals.

There is much to learn here … especially about yourself.

If you want to submit a message that is positive, you can feel free to reach out.

Welcome to my home. Please leave your emotional dysregulation outside.

There are 3 primary reasons people watch media and none of those have anything to do with truly appreciating art. Soaps aren’t high art, but they are an art form … and a means of employment.

Stop The Cycle

I give everyone one chance to show me who they are … and I believe them. I blame no one for their trauma but I do blame them for deciding to spread it to others and drag innocent people into their darkness. No one deserves that and I don’t abide it.
