Instead of seeking out things to respond to (as was the way of the other place) consider sharing content for people to positively engage with.
In general, my vibe is always about the beauty, positivity, innovation, and artistic value in things. Being judgy, pessimistic, negative, and unimaginative about the world is not a thing I'm into. Keep it to yourself.
In a community of wildly different and epic people who have so much to share and teach and celebrate about who they are ... if all you can be is representative of "what you despise in the world", you're missing a chance to share so much more about yourself
Those of you who love it here (new and old) ... going back to the Hellmouth to become "righteous defenders of CoSo" or whatever and using anger, or salt, or debate to "convince people they are wrong" and to come here ... That is NOT the way.
The Hellmouth and other social media spaces encourage this horrible cycle of begging, chasing, and even demanding engagement from others ... it also does the same TO you with notifications, algorithms, and general popularity brainwashing. The wonderful thing about CoSo is NONE of that trash matters here.
Refugees are so programmed to only think of hashtags as things to help push their content and gain popularity that they just can't conceive of them being used as a way of being considerate of other people's feelings.
Rudeness isn't a bad habit ... like something you just happened to pick up somewhere and accidently keep forgetting to not be ... it's a character trait you're choosing to bring into a space and inflict upon others.
Social media is what you bring to it ... and I see people just bring more of the same anger, complaining, and trauma for their own terrible media experiences to CoSo and that helps no one heal.
